Craft Brewery Trip to Tampa and St Pete!

Join us for a beer-filled excursion to St Pete and Tampa Bay on Sunday, April 6th!

We will travel to the west coast in style via a comfortable Party Bus. You can bring your own beer (or other drinks) to enjoy en route to Tampa where we will stop first for lunch. After that, the plan is to visit four other top-rated craft breweries in the area before heading back home. All together, its an eight hour excursion!

Special Guest! Gerard Walen, author of ‘Florida Breweries’ will be our special guest guide on this departure. Gerard Walen is a Tampa native who currently lives in Crystal River, Florida, where he homebrews and edits the online travel magazine Road Trips for Beer and the website He formerly wrote and edited for the Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and is now a contributing writer for Beer Advocate, All About Beer,, Paste Magazine and other publications.

Itinerary is as follows (but subject to change as we go):

Noon – Meet up in Dr Phillips. Address will be provided once you sign-up. 

1230pm – Depart for Tampa. We will leave promptly so don’t be late!

-Stop 1: Tampa Bay Brewing Company – we will start off with lunch at this brewery/restaurant in Ybor City. Lunch menu includes sandwiches, burgers, salads and a whole lot more! Wash your meal down with one of their nine house brews that they have on tap.

-Stop 2: Rapp Brewing Company – rated them BestNew Brewer in Florida of 2013 so expect good things! We will also enjoy a brewery tour here (the only tour included).

-Stop 3: Green Bench Brewing Co. – St Pete’s first microbrewery. This recently opened brewery features a 1,500 sq ft indoor tasting room plus 6,000 sq ft of outdoor space so plenty of room for all of us.

-Stop 4: Cycle Brewing – Just a short walk from Green Bench is the newly expanded Cycle Brewing. They used to brew at nearby Peg’s Cantina but got too popular and needed to expand to its new location. Their beers are top rated on sights like and

-Stop 5: Cigar City Brewery – No introduction necessary. If all goes according to plan, we will have at least 45 minutes for one last beer in their tasting room before we head home (or get some beers to go!)

Depart around 715pm for our drive home.

830pm – Arrive back to WOB (estimated time).

Please Note: All other beers and lunch not included. Most of these venues are cash or debit card only.  We will have about 45 minutes at each venue except for lunch. Schedule subject to change.

Please read the following terms and conditions for this tour, they limit our liability as the Operator of this tour and that of our agents, carriers and suppliers who are providing your tour arrangements. In addition, they outline the conditions under which your tour will operate. Your payment and completed registration form represents your acceptance of the terms and conditions as follows.

REGISTRATION & RESERVATIONS: Full payment due at time of reservation. Payment can be made via cash (in person) or via Paypal. All tour participants must complete a registration form to validate booking. Just fill out the form above or email me to register at or call/text 407-910-9659. If paying via Paypal, I will send you an invoice upon completion of the registration form. If paying by cash, I will contact you to make arrangements to do so.

ARRANGEMENTS INCLUDE: Roundtrip Party Bus transportation, driver gratuity, first beer on the bus (TBA), snacks on the bus, water on the bus, a brewery tour at the Rapp Brewing Company and a fun-filled day with like-minded craft beer lovers!

NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE: Lunch, beers at the breweries, gratuity to brewery and lunch staff, items of a personal nature.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: The payment is nonrefundable. Name changes allowed for $10.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Leila Coe ( Class Travel), its owners, outfitters, agents, and employees give notice that they act only as the agent for the owners, contractors and suppliers providing means of transportation and/or all other related travel services and assume no responsibility howsoever caused for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting from: acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays, expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations, and discrepancies or changes in transit or hotel services over which it has no control. Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of the passengers. The right is reserved to substitute breweries, alter the itinerary, and reverse the order of places to be visited. We will keep you informed of any necessary changes in a timely fashion. On advancement of deposit, the depositor therefore agrees to be bound by the above term and conditions.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS WAIVER: As a participant on this day trip, I fully and clearly understand that I will be consuming alcohol during the tour and I accept full responsibility for my behavior, well being, and health throughout the tour, which may involve a variety of activities, unfamiliar locations, and modes of travel, including but not limited to: pedestrian travel on busy streets, brewery tours, bars and pubs, and bus stairs. I further realize that brewery tours may involve beer tasting before or after the tour; and that the tour may involve walking through unfamiliar, narrow and/or steep corridors, gangways, stairways and driveways. I also realize that breweries may be operational during certain visits and that this presents additional hazards including heat and steam, reduced visibility, noise, hot pipes and boiling kettles. I knowingly and willfully accept these risks and take complete and total responsibility for my behavior, well-being and health during the tour. I agree to hold neither Leila Coe ( Class Travel) nor the hosting brewery or facility liable in any way should any harm come to me.
